Rustin Terry is running to fight for the issues that matter most to families in Lake Wylie and North Rock Hill — healthcare, schools, roads, and honest leadership in Columbia.
Reclaim Our Healthcare Dollars
Bring South Carolina's Medicaid Expansion tax dollars home from Washington to lower medical bills for families here in York County.
Affordable Insurance Coverage
Fight to bring out-of-control insurance premiums down so every family in District 48 can afford the coverage they need.
Fully Fund Public Education
Every child deserves a strong classroom in all of our schools — no matter their zip code or family income.
Pay Teachers What They're Worth
Stop losing great educators to other states. South Carolina must be competitive in teacher pay to keep the best in our classrooms.
Fix Our Roads
York County deserves better than potholes and patchwork. Invest in infrastructure that supports our growing communities and keeps families safe.
Stronger Families
Bring down healthcare costs for families and make family life affordable. When families thrive, our whole community thrives.
Common Sense, Not Party Lines
Work with everyone — Republican, Democrat, or Independent — to get things done for the people of District 48. Results matter more than politics.
Root Out Corruption
Hold state government accountable. Rustin will fight to root out corruption and restore trust in the people who represent us in Columbia.
Why It's Personal
Rustin is the father of three kids in Clover public schools — one hoping to attend Clemson next year. His wife is a USC graduate and a public school teacher at Larne Elementary. He works in tech helping people improve their credit scores. He knows firsthand what it means to rely on good schools, affordable healthcare, and roads that work.
He owes tremendous gratitude to South Carolina's educators and healthcare workers — especially those at MUSC — who go above and beyond every single day. That gratitude is what drives him to go to Columbia and fight for them.
